Description

In the exhibition hall next to the chapel of Budatín Castle in Žilina, was installed original exhibition called „On two wheels“ (slovak „Na dvoch kolesách“) under the curatorship of Peter Šimko, a transport historian working here. The areal belongs to Považske museum – local museal institute.

The exhibition included real historical bicycles from the museum’s collection, such as a penny-farthing bicycle and a boneshaker, lended from Transport museum in Rajecké Teplice.

The exhibition was also supplemented with wooden bicycles by Radoslav Burian from Vrútky, his own products and extraordinal bicycles from the collection of Jozef Janiš.
